Faodail House consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with woodburning stove, a utility with walk-in shower, a first-floor sitting room. The bedrooms include a king-size with en-suite bath, basin and WC, 1 x up to three single beds, 1 x ground-floor double and 1x ground floor King-size serviced by the ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC and shower in the utility room. Outside, there is a non-enclosed front garden with wood fired hot tub and ample off-road parking. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Faodail House is a charming base for a Scottish escape. Note: This property has a 450 GBP Good Housekeeping Bond.

Town: The village of Uig (pronounced "Oo-ig"), at the northern tip of Skye, rests on the shores of Loch Snizort, Skye’s largest sea loch off the Atlantic. The village boasts two pubs, two shops, a hotel, a filling station and cafe, as well as two other businesses well-worth a visit. Uig Pottery sells a range of high quality pottery produced on-site, while the Skye Brewery sells its own superb real ales from the brewery shop. Sheltered by high cliffs, the bay is one of the most beautiful in Skye, and is home to the ferry terminal for the Outer Hebrides. Wildlife in the area includes golden eagles, sea eagles, pilot whales, seals and dolphins. The attractions of the Isle, including the main town of Portree, are all within easy reach of this tranquil base.
