In the heart of the old village, near the city center,
Village house of 135 m2 + terrace 40m2.

Spacious village house in Salernes en Provence in the Var, ground floor 135m2 with 40m2 terrace. Decorated with care (Tiles Alain Vagh throughout the house), pleasant and comfortable.

The house is in the heart of the old village that overlooks downtown, far enough away from the summer excitement for it to regain calm. Yet only 3 minutes walk to shopping and village activities, and 5 minutes walk from the lake with supervised swimming.

In the village center, small casino, bakers, butchers, caterers, greengrocer, two pharmacies, two tobacconists, newsagents, clothing stores, haberdashery ....
 3 Supermarkets (Intermarché, Casino and Lidl). The typical Provencal market every Wednesday and Saturday where you can go on foot. Opportunity to shop without taking the car. The charm of the countryside close to everything

5 minutes walk from the swimming (the Muie) from a pool of 3000 m² and beach shaded by pine trees, 23km from Lake St. Croix and the Verdon Gorges, 50 km from the beaches of the French Riviera ( Sainte Maxime, Fréjus, Saint raphaël etc ...), 65 km from St Tropez, Nice 1 hour, Marseille, Aix en Provence .. Many attractions nearby (Waterfall Sillans, Thoronet Abbey, ....).
You can also sample Provençal rosé, red or white, there are lots of wineries around (we will give you the good addresses)

You can go also on foot at the Ceramics Museum.

For more sports activities: mountain biking, horse riding and tennis pactice Golf 10 minutes. A little further canoeing, pedal boating, sailing or power boat (Sainte Croix Lake), beach activities .... Tree climbing.
At gastronomy we are not left out, you can discover the truffle in all its states at Bruno in Lorgues or at Ducasse in Moustiers Sainte Marie.

Wunderbar!

Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne Wochen in der Wohnung! Das Örtchen Salernes ist nicht zu klein, der Markt ist toll, ein paar nette Geschäfte und vor allem ist der Badebereich klasse (mit kühlem Flusswasser). Auch die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr zentral am Hang gelegen. - Bei uns war es sehr heiß, was aber durch die Klimaanlage im Wohnbereich erträglich wurde. Die Schlafzimmer waren schon noch sehr stickig. Der Außenbereich lädt zum Verweilen ein. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft für groß und klein!

We hebben genoten met ons (puber)gezin van 5 in het sfeervolle verblijf. Zeer compleet huis en mooie locatie in het dorpje. Vriendelijke gastheer die nog leuke tips gaf wat er te doen was in de buurt. Leuk keramiek dorpje. Mooie omgeving. Erg genoten!!

Ein wunderschöner Ort, um den Alltag hinter sich zu lassen.

Auch dieses Jahr sind wir wieder in die Provence gereist, um den Alltag hinter uns zu lassen. Die Kleinstadt Salernes zeigte sich als perfekte Wahl. Es gibt wunderbare Bistros und vielfältige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Jungs (10 und 12 Jahre) liebten es, zu der Naturbadestelle zu laufen und sich im Flusswasser zu erfrischen. Das Appartement bietet alles, was man braucht. Die Terasse ist wunderbar geschützt und ruhig. Man findet auch immer genug Schatten. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes Haus mit liebevoller Ausstattung. Sehr nette Vermieter, die bei anfallenden Kleinigkeiten (z.B. Gas war leer) unmittelbar reagierten! Ein toller Urlaub in einer sehr schönen Umgebung! Salernes ist ein sehr sympathisches Dorf mit anziehendem Marktplatz, dessen Cafés zum verbleiben einladen!

Swedish visit

Nice place with lots of space for a family of 5-6 people. We've spent our evenings on the wonderful terrace. There is a good barbeque, well equipped kitchen and everything in the house is clean and in perfect condition. We enjoyed the personal interior design with exotic tiles and mosaics. Close to beautiful villages, beaches and Gorge du Verdon. The local "pool" in the river is minutes away and you can walk down for an evening swim. Two good supermarkets in the village and local cafes and restaurants can keep you happy.

Séjour à Salernes

Excellent séjour à Salernes, dans le magnifique appartement loué par Olivier et Véronique. Nous avons été reçus avec chaleur. Le lieu est magnifique et d'une belle originalité avec cette petite terrasse en plein coeur du village, très conforme à la description. L'appartement est très spacieux. Pour les déplacements, nous étions à environ 30 mn des gorges du Verdon qu'il faut faire sur une journée de ballade, du beau village de Moustier Ste Marie, et à 1 heure de la mer. Nous avons visité Tourtour le "village dans le ciel". Pour les jeunes, il y a entre autre un skatepark et un lieu de baignade aménagé au bord de la rivière (malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu en profiter) Le village est attractif (il y a de tout) et nous reviendrons surement en été pour profiter des nombreux petits concerts de plein air qui vont bientôt débuter. Je vous recommande particulièrement ce lieu chaleureux et coloré ! Nous, nous avons adoré l'ambiance et la quiétude. Merci aux propriétaires..., nous reviendrons...
