The property is really nice and we had a wonderful stay at this property. Mishell was exceptionally attentive and responsive. Prospective travelers should be aware that local infrastructure in Guatemala can lead to unpredictable, multi-hour power and water outages. Unfortunately, this resulted in significant food loss for us during our stay.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
If zero stars was available I would have selected zero. The host was difficult to contact she would respond 12 hours later. The house had a septic tank smell the entire time, they left 7 towels for a 10 person reservation and one was ripped and she is trying to charge me for it. She claims we damaged the property which is not true and wants to charge me directly for “damages” that are non existent mind you I purchased damage insurance just in case but she wanted to charge my credit card to which I responded absolutely not. I also requested photos of the alleged damages and she did not send me anything. Then she messaged me in a very rude manner. The condition was so bad that we left a whole day in advance because the electricity went out as well and our food went bad. So they had my 436 extra for the night and still wants to charge me. I understand that the infrastructure in Guatemala is very different but there’s literally nothing around other than half built homes. The house has potential but the host is a nightmare. I am sure you can find something better with better customer service for what she charges.
