Maison Vue Montaut is set in the green hills, on the border of Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne, in south-west France: a peaceful hideaway with a warm mix of modern, vintage and antique elements. You stay surrounded by nature on a large private estate of 5,000 m², featuring terraces on different levels and a heated swimming pool overlooking the surrounding valleys.

Inside, the house is spacious and atmospheric, with an open-plan living area that includes a sleek kitchen, a long wooden dining table and a comfortable seating area. On the ground floor there is a stylish bedroom with en-suite bathroom; upstairs you'll find two additional bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, tucked under the roof.

Outside, the large covered veranda forms the heart of the home, a wonderful place to lounge, read or enjoy meals together while taking in the hill views. A staircase leads down to a lower terrace with an outdoor kitchen and long dining table. One level below, you'll find the pool with sun terrace completely private, peaceful and surrounded by nature. Outside the high season the pool can be heated for an additional fee (July/August not necessary). The area feels authentically French, with local markets, historic villages, canoeing, walking trails and easy trips to Villeréal and Bergerac.
