Escape to one of the most beautiful parts of the Italian Alps! This ground-floor apartment is in a traditional stone mountain lodge in the charming village of Savoulx. The rustic exterior gives way to a stylish, contemporary interior. The apartment can sleep up to 4 people and makes an ideal base for friends or family looking for alpine adventures throughout the year.

The lodge is built on the mountainside, so whilst the front door is on the ground floor, the balcony at the back, overlooks a lush valley and the Alps beyond. There is a café-style table and chairs on the balcony so that guests can enjoy the stunning views with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The open plan living/dining area is comfortably furnished with a sofa, a fireplace and a flat-screen TV next to the dining table, which seats up to 4 people. The stylish open kitchen adjoins the dining area. It is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and fridge/freezer.

Sleeping
Bedroom: The master bedroom has a king-size double bed and extensive wooden wardrobes. A glass door opens onto a small balcony.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Note: The property is a mountain lodge, so snow clearing for the parking area and the last 20 meters of pathway is the responsibility of the guest. A shovel and salt are conveniently located in the ski storage area by the entrance.

Location
The village is only 8 minutes from the resort town of Oulx, in the Susa Valley. The area is a popular holiday destination at any time of year. It is surrounded by spectacular mountains, forests and meadows. Amenities, including supermarkets, groceries, bars and restaurants to suit all ages and budgets are within a 10-minute drive.

In the winter months, visitors can enjoy multiple skiing and snowboarding options in the nearby resort of Sauze d’Oulx (15 minutes), which is part of the famous Via Lattea network of slopes. In the summer, there are numerous hiking trails through the alpine meadows and mountains. As well as great mountain biking routes.

Turin airport is just over an hour from the apartment. If you are arriving by train, then Beaulard Oulx railway station is a 4-minute drive.
