Set in glorious and quiet grounds just a five minute drive from Bath, these highly-rated classic contemporary 2-bedroom Cottages with ensuite bathrooms are each fully private with terrace and garden.
Sitting within the much revered Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the cottages offer quiet private accommodation for international travellers, romantic retreats, family holidays or business trips.
The space
Linhay Cottage lies within the expansive grounds of Ashley Stud, which was once the breeding ground of Palomino Ponies. This delightful self catering barn conversion offers a touch of luxury amidst rolling countryside yet is conveniently close to the beautiful Georgian / Roman city of Bath with Bradford on Avon and Corsham being within a short travelling distance away. One of four distinctly restored cottages, this beautiful retreat has been finished to a very high standard, making it perfect for families, couples, friends or business travellers.
The front of the property has an enclosed terrace housing an all year round dining table and chairs, making it ideal for family lunches and evening suppers on balmy summer evenings. There is a large communal garden area where families can play table tennis or swing ball or enjoy a tree swing for the children. To the rear of the property is a smaller terrace with table and chairs to perhaps have breakfast and to catch the morning sunshine.
Within the cottage the spacious open plan living area with kitchen and dining area to the rear is all very comfortably furnished with a bespoke corner sofa, with ambient lighting all designed to help you relax and enjoy the atmosphere. For sports lovers there is a huge TV set within a bookcase, and for the bookworms amongst you there are endless books to chose from on the shelves. Other entertainment in the guise of children's and adult’s games etc are in the cupboards beneath. So if you are not visiting the surrounding area there is plenty to occupy yourselves with.
The kitchen area is a fully functioning space with everything one would expect from a contemporary kitchen, a full height fridge freezer, integrated oven and microwave, washing machine, dishwasher as well as toasters, kettles etc.
For lovers of history the dining table is made from C19th pine boards used to dry the pottery made in the Midlands areas at that time. Also the pine fitted bench is made from the same boards. Recycling these as well as using Recycled Sustainable Wood Chip to heat the cottages has been our long term plan. So always toastie warm with the underfloor heating.
Upstairs boasts 2 charming en suite bedrooms, with super king beds which can easily be converted to single beds on request. Each bedroom has a chest of drawers and stylish bedside tables, as well as a fitted wardrobe and fitted drawers housing a small TV. The ensuites are fitted with an enclosed shower, toilet and wash basin together with towels for your comfort.
There is ample parking space with 2 spaces allocated per cottage, ensuring a hassle free experience from arrival to departure.

For the duration of your stay, the entire house and its beautiful gardens are exclusively yours to enjoy. We provide a seamless, completely contactless check-in and check-out process for your convenience and peace of mind.
