Two bedrooms: 1 king size and 1 set of twin beds- this can be set as 2 kings or 2 sets of twins upon request served by a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Outside there is a courtyard , a designated parking space, and ample roadside parking available. Within 0.2 miles, you will find a shop, and within0.3, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. One well-behaved pet welcome. 5 The Old Coach House, a well-equipped base for exploring the beauty of Peak District National Park. Note: there is a Good Housekeeping Bond of 250 GBP. Please note: of you are bringing a pet, please bring any bowls/ bedding/ towels for them to use. Note: If needed, there is a launderette in the village.

Serious walkers will wish to head east from the village, across the green foothills to the russet expanse of Kinder’s moorland plateau for a starting step onto the Pennine Way or Snake Pass. Families and those looking for gentler roaming can venture west along the beautiful Sett Valley Trail towards New Mills with the Torrs Riverside Park, a peaceful place for recreation and relaxation. Within just a short drive are the delightful High Peak villages of Chapel-en-le-Frith, boasting a cobbled marketplace and historic old stocks, and Whaley Bridge, with its canal basin and a good range of local amenities. Just a little further is Castleton, with its famous caverns and Norman Castle, as well as the popular spa town of Buxton, with its fabulous Opera House and Victorian architecture and park.
