My husband and I retired from 999 service in 2017 & wanted to work for ourselves. We bought an 11 acre dilapidated property in 2019 & then the really hard work started! We love hosting & have been really successful so far. We have renovated barns & derelict buildings & turned them into rental properties. We currently have 2 holiday lets, a 4 bedroom barn conversion & a 2 bedroom Annexe. We have planning permission for 2 more properties on site.
We love to share our beautiful properties and setting with guests. We enjoy seeing them wandering through the nature paths with their children & dogs.

Why they chose this property
We searched high & low for the ‘right’ property for us. We knew we wanted to create something unique, so the property had to deliver & it was really difficult to find. It took around 2 years of hard searching, we even appeared on ‘Escape to the Country’ to help us find it. Norfolk was the last County to search & boy did it deliver! Norfolk is a wonderful corner of the UK, we have wonderful neighbours & a fantastic support network which includes other rental owners. The pace of life here is wonderfully slower than elsewhere.
What makes this property unique
The Annexe has total privacy & seclusion. It is peace & tranquility personified. It is set within Littleton Farm & has 11 acres of private land. In 2020 we started to return our land back to nature. We planted 900 native trees & cut paths for our guests to explore at their leisure. We noticed that wildlife has returned in abundance, this comprises of Field voles, weasels, stoats & many birds of prey, including Barn & Tawny Owls, Buzzards, Red Kites & our much loved Kestrels. We provide nesting boxes (with cameras) for bats, birds of prey, Tits & wrens. All box cameras are available for guests to view on a tablet in all properties.
