The Location
Picturesque and very popular among the Greeks, the village of Ligaria, famous for its crystal clear turquoise water and the enclosed bay, well protected from the wind. The beach is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. There are taverns and bars in the beach promenade, as well as a diving center with boat rental. In the summer, Ligaria is in great demand among the local population, as well as among visitors of the island. Within a 5-10 minute drive there are many other large and small bays and beaches where you can enjoy sunbathing and swimming. In the vicinity, there are a lot of attractions and very beautiful places, such as museums, monasteries, mountains, gorges and caves. Having been here once, you will definitely want to come back.
