Located next door to the Portpatrick Dunskey Golf Course in this charming coastal village, it offers magnificent sea views across the Irish Sea from the floodlit timber deck. This magnificent property has everything from the well-equipped kitchen to the thick, feather-filled duvets and pillows, and crisp white linen. All four bedrooms have en-suite facilities.
Portpatrick is a charming and pretty fishing port with a small sandy beach and harbour as the focal point of the village. Take a stroll along the harbour and stop off at one of the waterfront pubs for a drink or a meal whilst enjoying the sea view!
There are lots of walks right on your doorstep - Portpatrick is the ’Gateway to the Southern Upland Way’, a 212 mile coast to coast walk from Portpatrick to Cockburnspath in the east. Join the route on the cliffs above the harbour and walk along the coast enjoying the beautiful views over the sea to Ireland.
There are lots of other pretty little ports and bays to discover in the area too. Killantringan Bay is a short drive outside Portpatrick, and a short walk from the village will bring you to Laird’s Bay. There is a host of other local attractions including the RSPB Scotland Mull of Galloway Nature Reserve, where thousands of seabirds nest in the cliff face during the spring and summer. There are many beautiful gardens to explore, including the world renowned Logan Botanic Garden, Castle Kennedy Gardens and Glenwhan. The area is a cyclist’s paradise with the famous ’7Stanes’ world class mountain biking trails within easy reach.
