Wonderful welcome to Saint Valery en Caux

Paul and his wife were fantastic hosts! Their prompt communications, wonderful townhome and recommendations made our weekend incredibly special. Cannot thank them enough for letting us call their space home for a few sunny filled days on the French coast. Looking forward to hopefully returning and enjoying their wonderful garden again!

Lovely house in a charming town

The property is large and extremely well-equipped. It has been wonderfully restored by the owner to provide character and convenience. It is a short walk into the town which has a good selection of shopping and restaurants and is about 15 minutes walk to the beach. Although the weather was poor on a few days, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The town is a lovely base to tour the region.

Lovely house in a great location

We have just returned from a 1 week family holiday in this property, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The house is charming, spacious and full of character and has everything you need. The location is great, in a quiet road tucked behind the harbour but easy walking distance to the harbour, beach and restaurants. There are lots of attractions and sight-seeing opportunities nearby. Paul is a welcoming and helpful host.

Unsere Familie (Mama, Papa und Jugend 24, 22, 16) verbrachten 14 Tage in einem gemütlichen, gut ausgestatteten und mit viel Liebe zum Detail renovierten Haus. Die bisherigen Bewertungen können wir nur bestätigen. Ein paar bisher nicht erwähnte Infos: WCs sind im EG und im 1. OG zu finden. Das Bad im DG hat kein WC, dafür Badewanne mit Duschkopf. Es gibt 2 Treppen vom EG in das OG: Eine davon ist sehr steil und auch nicht genormt - antik eben. Die zweite geht vom EG übers OG bis unters Dach ist schmal aber gut zu begehen! Das Wasser ist sehr kalkhaltig und gechlort (wie oft in Frankreich). Zum Tee kochen wäre ein Brita-Wasserfilter hilfreich, aber nicht zwingend notwendig.Wir Erwachsene haben die Privatsphäre, die die vielen Indoor-Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten gewährleisten, sehr zu schätzen gewusst, auch die Möglichkeit Badesachen vernünftig aufzuhängen. Der Ort selber bietet neben dem Meer mit (!) windgeschütztem Planschbecken und Spielplatz für Kinder, einigen Restaurants, Bistros, großen Supermärkten, kleinen Boutiquen etc. einen Info-Weg zur Schlacht in Saint Valery während des 2. WK, der gut gemacht ist und oben an den Klippen endet.Ausflüge: Rouen u. Etretat (1h), Bayeux u. Versailles (je 2h), Veules les Roses u. Fecamp (30min)Das Haus ist auch für 3 Paare (evtl. mit je einem Kind - 2 Babys und 1 älteres Kind) zu empfehlen.Unser Kontakt zu den Vermietern, Paul und seiner Familie, war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Vielen herzlichen Dank, wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit!

Der Empfang durch den Vermieter war herzlich und unkompliziert. Das typisch normannische Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet: Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Backofen, Wasserkocher, Fernseher, Staubsauger, Nespresso Kapselmaschine, sogar 4 Fahrräder stehen zur Verfügung. Ein besonderes Highlight ist eine begehbare Panzerglasplatte, durch die man vom Wohnzimmer im 1. Obergeschoss hinunter in die Küche sehen kann. Dort befindet sich auch der Zugang zur Terrasse hinter dem Haus. Die zwei Badezimmer (1x Dusche, 1x Badewanne) sind modern und hochwertig ausgestattet. Die Matratzen der Doppelbetten sind sehr bequem. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und dennoch recht zentral gelegen. Zu Fuß ist man in knapp 10 Minuten am Marktplatz und in 15 Minuten am Strand. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt genossen. Wir können dieses Haus nur empfehlen.

Fijn huis dicht bij zee en winkels

Huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, comfortabele bedden, keuken benodigheden, servies, afwas machine , was machine. Met de fiets heb je in 10 min brood gehaald. Het huis licht centraal voor het gebied van Falaises te verkennen.

Urlaub am Hafen

Zum Haus: Man merkt, dass diese Unterkunft von den Vermietern selbst genutzt wird. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und auch für Familien ausgestattet. Es gibt 2 Wohnzimmer, sodass man sich bei Bedarf mal mit einem Buch hinsetzen kann während im anderen Raum Spiele gespielt werden oder ferngesehen wird. Auch die beiden großen Schlafzimmer im Dachgeschoss bieten reichlich Platz für Kinder, um sich bei Bedarf auszubreiten. Spielzeug für die Kinder, Fernsehen mit Netflix und sogar eine Wii, saubere und bequeme Betten, 2 Toiletten, ein Pellet-Ofen, der auf Knopfdruck Gemütlichkeit verströmt, ein gemütlicher Innenhof mit Sonnensegel und Fahrräder für kleinere Touren im Ort sorgten für 2 sehr entspannte Urlaubswochen. Die Küche glänzt mit vielen Töpfen und Geschirr, scharfen Messern, gleich zwei Kaffeemaschinen (Filter + Nespresso), Toaster, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Backofen und Spülmaschine. Wir haben wirklich nichts vermisst. Paul ist ein fürsorglicher Vermieter. Der Kontakt war immer freundlich und unkompliziert. Zum Ort: Saint Valery-en-Caux ist ein kleiner Küstenort, der alles notwendige bietet. Zwei größere Supermärkte sind durch einen kleinen Fussmarsch bergauf erreichbar, wir empfehlen für größere Einkäufe aber das Auto. Ansonsten bietet die Innenstadt viele kleinere Lebensmittelläden und Restaurants, die in 10 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar sind. Durch seine Lage fast direkt am Yachthafen sind morgendliche Runden zum Bäcker jedes Mal ein Erlebnis für die Kinder gewesen.

Schöner Aufenthalt in der Normandie

Das Haus ist wunderschön renoviert und sehr gepflegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und alles verlief reibungslos. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden und es wird Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt, so gibt es Salz, Pfeffer etc. man muss also nicht alles besorgen. Es gibt einwandfreies W-Lan, Apple Tv und zwei Wohnzimmer so dass Teenager und Erwachsene sich aus dem Weg gehen können. Wir fanden alles prima. Vielen lieben Dank für den Aufenthalt

Wunderbares Haus als Ausgleich zum dauernden Regenwetter!

Wir warten vom ersten Moment an von dem Haus sehr begeistert! Unsere Familie besteht neben mir und meinem noch aus unseren 2 Töchtern. Durch die 3 Schlafräume hatten jeder einen Raum zum Zurückziehen. Desweiteren gab es n2 gemütliche Wohnzimmer. Da wir aufgrund von sehr schlechtem Wetter viel im Haus verbringen "mussten ' haben wir die Größe sehr genossen! Außerdem ist es auch sehr schön, das die wichtigsten Gewürze und aein paar Grund- Lebensmittel vorhanden sind. Für kleine Kinder ist auch Spielzeug vorhanden. Alles in allem, ohne dieses wunderbaren Hauses hätten wir unseren Urlaub evtl. 1-2 Tage früher abgebrochen ( aufgrund des Wetters).

Séjour très agréable!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans une maison chaleureuse, confortable, parfaitement équipée et décorée avec goût. Paul et sa compagne nous ont accueilli très gentiment et étaient disponibles en cas de besoin. La maison est parfaitement située pour profiter de Saint-Valéry et des environs. Location bien recommandé.

Deux maisons combinées en une. Deux chambres doubles et une chambre triple. Quelques vieilles choses comme les poutres, les armoires et les planchers en bois. Cependant, cette maison de vacances offert une cuisine moderne, une salle d'eau, et une poele a bois, toutes installées récemment. Près de la ville et du havre. Un bon accueil de Paul, le gérant.
