The house itself is designed around light and open space, especially in the kitchen and garden areas, and it’s a place I genuinely enjoy spending time in myself.

Why they chose this property

I chose Clapham because it has the best mix of London life — loads of great bars, restaurants and cafés, but still with a neighbourhood feel and plenty of green space. It’s also incredibly well connected, so you can get into Soho, the West End and central London really easily while still coming back to somewhere that feels calm and relaxed at the end of the day.

What makes this property unique

The best part of the house is definitely the kitchen/dining space — it’s got extra-high ceilings and so much natural light that it feels bright and open all day long. The bifold doors open up completely onto the 130ft garden, which is amazing in the summer and makes the whole space feel really connected to the outdoors.
We also have a modern garden office at the back of the garden with strong WiFi, and that has bifold doors too, so you can open the whole thing up on warm days. It works really well if you need a quiet place to work, take calls, or just have a bit of space away from the main house.
