Mazarol's Lair

Perched on the hills of Valmareno, among the vineyards of the Prosecco region, this cosy country home offers a magnificent panoramic view of Castelbrando and the surrounding landscape.
It’s the ideal base for a relaxing getaway, perfect for visiting wineries, wine tastings, and hikes in the mountains. Originally an old barn, it was converted into a home by my father; the house retains its original features, such as the stone masonry and exposed beam structure.

The house has two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, as well as a third bathroom on the ground floor. You’ll find a spacious living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a traditional wood-burning stove for extra warmth and even cosier evenings.
Amenities include free Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Outside, a seating area invites you to relax and enjoy the view.

Nature lovers will appreciate the nearby Claudia Augusta Altinate trail and the surrounding mountains, ideal for hiking and biking.
The Prosecco hills offer plenty of opportunities for winery tours and tastings, and CastelBrando is nearby and a truly unmissable stop.

Located about an hour from Treviso Airport and Venice Marco Polo Airport, La Tana del Mazarol is situated in the Prosecco Hills, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, and offers free on-site parking.
