The Space:

Honeypot Hideaways - Manuka, a single-storey pod, consists of a studio-style living space with microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, dining table for two people, sitting area with TV, and a double bed. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin, and WC. You'll find a shop in 1.3 miles and pub in 1.2 miles. Fuel, power, bed linen are included in the rent. Outside, there is a garden with patio, lawn, picnic bench, and barbecue, and free on-site private parking available. (Gazebo and furniture is available May to October is weather dependent. A complimentary bag of BBQ charcoal is provided, more available on request at a small charge).Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Return year after year to Honeypot Hideaways - Manuka. Note: This property is adults-only. Note: No WiFi, but good 4G on-site. The site is an adult-only calm and relaxed setting so we don't allow parties or loud music out of respect to all our guests and the surrounding countryside . Also dogs are unfortunately not allowed due to the close proximity of livestock.



The Neighborhood:

The pretty Peak District village of Hope lies in the heart of the Hope Valley, and on the doorstep of some great walking country. Set amongst the beautiful rolling hills of the Peak District National Park, the village boasts some village pubs which serve food, a general store, some very interesting shops and galleries to explore, and a railway station. Hope is perfectly situated for either an action-packed break full of caving, climbing, and great walks from the doorstep, or a quiet countryside break in this lovely part of the Peaks. The Winnats Pass cuts a course through superb scenery just a couple of miles away in Castleton, and is a delight for walkers, cyclists and motorists alike. Nearby are the pretty villages of Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, Castleton and Hathersage with its seasonal outdoor swimming pool, while horse riding and the wonderful Castleton Caves are all available within 3 miles. Enjoy a day out at Alton Towers or visit the impressive Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Also within easy reach are Buxton, Matlock Bath and Carsington Water, while further afield are the market towns of Ashbourne and Leek.
