Songbirds and squirrels

Enjoyed a lovely week at this beautiful chalet, with a very friendly owner to look after us. The chalet is very roomy and comfy and everything you can think of provided. But the attractions of the garden are just as enjoyable; afternoons spent on the warm patio listening to birdsongs and watching the squirrels around us in the garden will stay in our memory for a long time. Enjoyed meals at the Pilot Boat Inn in Bembridge and the Yarbridge Inn nearby. Would recommend walking from Ryde to Seaview along the promenade and beach. Lots of cafes in Seaview but we enjoyed coffee and cake at The Old Fort café right on the seafront overlooking the Solent.
