About this property

Rose Cottage, Giggleswick

Summary:

Rose Cottage in Giggleswick, North Yorkshire can sleep three people in two bedrooms.

The Space:

The kitchen houses an electric double oven and halogen hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, a living/dining room has a woodburning stove, with starter pack of wood, and a TV. The bedrooms include a king-size and single serviced by a shower room, with both duvets filled with feather quilting. To the outside is ample roadside parking and a patio. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. This property will not accept pets or smoking. Within 0.6 miles or less there is a shop and pub. Rose Cottage is a picturesque escape, whatever time of year. Please note: A maximum of 3 people can be in the property at any given time.. Please note: Due to changeover arrangements, bookings can only start on a Friday and made atleast 7 days ahead of the check-in date. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.

The Neighborhood:

This charming Ribblesdale village is located just across the river from the vibrant market town of Settle and beneath a limestone scar that is a component of the Craven fault. The 'date stones' over their doorways will indicate that many of the robust homes and cottages in this extremely picturesque location date to the 17th century. The picturesque St. Alkelda's church, which dates to the 12th century, and the iconic domed chapel of the illustrious Giggleswick School, which dominates the local skyline, remain the focal points of the village today. There are two pubs in Giggleswick, and Settle, a small market town, is close by and offers a wide range of services. The village of Ingleton is further away and has a beautiful waterfall trek, and the Three Peaks are nearby (for serious walkers, of course).
