Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and offers year-round birding and seawatching. 250,000 seabirds spend the summer on the 400 ft Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) south of Filey Bay. Nesting birds include gannets, kittiwakes, and razorbills. Gannets dive for fish in Filey Bay.
