Great location with incredible Sunset views, yoga pavilion, pool was perfect for the Grand Children. Daily housecleaning was top notch. Kitchen was was stocked with equipment. (missing an air-fryer?) If a question or need came up, so incredibly quick to respond. Would highly recommend to anyone

Paradise!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and didn’t want to leave For home. The view is exquisite, complete with sunsets every night, and the pool with lush gardens tops it off. The villa has everything you need, is clean, and tastefully decorated for a tropical oasis. Petra the concierge was wonderful, arranging tours and suggesting good nearby restaurants. Personal chef Sibyl was amazing, our 2 dinners she made were truly memorable!

Absolutely fantastic! It’s a little remote but so beautiful. We arrived right before sunset and it was a stunning view from the inside and outside of the house. The house itself was magnificent as well. Luca was there to welcome us when we arrived and was very helpful at all times. We definitely enjoyed walking down to the beach and swimming every morning. We also requested a chef for breakfast every morning which Luca arranged for us. Chef Fabian whipped up delicious food every day. While it was a bit of a drive to go to Tamarindo and catch activities that we booked it was well worth it. I’d book this House again anytime but I do recommend having a car when staying here.

Stunning views, amazing property and great area

We've just finished our third stay at Villa Oceanis in the last year, and there's a reason we're continually drawn back to this gem in Guanacaste. A perfect size for two couples or a family of 4 or 5, the home has a well equipped kitchen, two beautiful bathrooms, a great picnic table on the deck, adirondack chairs and lounges. But in all likelihood you'll spend you time in the pool enjoying the spectacular views and sunsets. It's a beautiful pool suitable for kids and adults and is always well maintained. The home also has all of the other amenities you could use including stable and fast WIFI, A/C in the bedrooms with great patio doors at each end for breezes, a tv with Sky satellite (about 10 english channels), a gated driveway, washer and dryer (though you're provided with more than enough towels and plenty of handy drying racks for bathings suits). They've also thoughtfully included some paperbacks, bug spray, a lantern (there are not streetlights in the area), binoculars, maps and books about Costa Rica, and the list goes on. The home is on a beautiful beach for walking and surfing, but if you are looking to swim there are options a few minutes away by car. The area has a few great restaurants around including the one at Hotel Igauanzul (you can walk here), Amigo's, Latinos, Lola's Deeveena and others which are few minutes away by car. We've also felt incredibly safe in in the area and everyone we've met has been incredibly friendly. Over the last year this vacation rental has only gotten better! Two trees have been cleared out so the view is less obstructed, the indoor and outdoor couches have been replaced/recovered and look great and are comfy, a new privacy wall on the deck which gives it more space, and the yard has some new landscaping which also improves the view. Also new on this trip are Patty and Nicholas the new concierges who live nearby and are incredibly helpful and friendly. They emailed us ahead of our arrival to help with any preparations and had a wonderful set of activities/suggestions/options available (make sure to get a few platters of food from La Ventanas, do the beach sunset dinner, eat Desert at Deeveenas, and release baby turtles if it's happening during your stay). Thank you to Valerie and Patrick (the owners), you're easy to deal with and I hope we meet on a future visit. It was another magical stay and I am already planning a return trip, it truly is paradise.

Amazing place

Villa Oceanis is a great property! It is comfortable, clean and in a great location. We enjoyed the tide pools right there on the beach. The pool was a great change of pace from the beach. Petra the property manager was amazing, she coordinated all sorts of service for us from transportation to Covid testing. The staff who cleaned the house and pool daily did great work and were very friendly. Fantastic all around and we can't wait to go back.

Beautiful and peaceful spot!

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay! The house is a nice layout / size for our family of 4. It is such a beautiful location, steps from the beach, and even though it feels completely remote, there are many activities (surfing / horseback riding / turtle viewing) and great restaurants nearby w/in a 10 minute (very bumpy dirt road!) drive. Sunsets are nothing less than sublime, especially if you walk left along the beach to Playa Junquillal. One tip is to make sure you come w/ enough cash (either US or CR colones) as cards are not widely accepted and the nearest ATM is 30+ minutes away

Costa Rican Paradise

This wonderful place surpassed our expectations. Beautiful, tranquil and very private. The concierge Petra was amazing and tended to our every need in a competent and friendly way. I only wished we had stayed longer...we hope to come back next year!

Quite literally, everything was perfect!

From the moment we arrived, to the moment we said our sad goodbyes with the staff, our vacation Junquillal was perfect. The house is lovely. It’s small and compact, and we had everything we needed. Petra, our concierge, was so helpful and friendly. She feels like a friend! Federico, the gardener, takes such pride in his work. He’s a pleasure to be around. And Odixi, our housekeeper, is So lovely. She is efficient and kind, it always has a big smile on her face. The property itself is stunning. It overlooks the ocean, and there are dramatic rocks in the foreground that create a view which changes with the tides. We have a nice set of steps to get down to the beach (not very many, so don’t let that put you off), and once you’re there, you can literally walk for miles! There are several restaurants you can walk to, which is always lots of fun. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. If you’re looking for a wonderful vacation getaway, supported by the kindest of staff, book this place! We will definitely be back to stay in paradise once more, and two greet our newfound friends, Petra, Federico, and Odixi.

Bathroom were bit small but doable. Kitchen had all the necessary wares. Very clean property. Pool was always clean. A 4x4 vehicle is ideal for the dirt road. About 2.2 meters from paved road.

Gorgeous Sunsets on your private beach

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the property manager Petra & a family of howling monkeys directly above the front entrance. What a cool welcome!!! Petra gave us a tour of the home & grounds of what will be our home for the next few days. We swam in the pool and ocean throughout the days. Then closed the evenings with breathtaking sunsets with wine. This place is very convenient. Easy access with the car. Restaurants nearby and you get the beach for yourself!

Océanis, notre maison pour le bonheur

Hi Dear! Quel bonheur de retrouver ceux que nous aimons pour passer une semaine magique dans la villa Océanis à Playa Junquillal , Costa Rica ! Imaginez : Se lever avec le soleil, pour se rendre à la Playa Blanca , située à deux pas et communier avec la nature . Un Océan Pacifique agréablement chaud, des poissons multicolores filant à vos pieds... Et toutes les variétés d'oiseaux : les escadrilles de pélicans qui frôlent la vague de leurs ailes, les motmots dont le plumage nous a émerveillé, sans parler des perroquets, si exotiques, ainsi que toutes les espéces que nous n'avons pu identifier . Le Costa Rica recèle un trésor de biodiversité , Playa Junquillal d'authenticité, au plus prés de la nature et des gens . La villa Océanis a été notre havre de paix lors de notre séjour, si dépaysant ! Tous les ingrédients étaient présents : Valérie, notre charmante hôtesse et maitresse des lieux avait tout prévu pour nous accueillir le plus agréablement qu'il soit . Nous avons bien apprécié les fruits frais qui nous attendaient ainsi qu'un gentil mot de bienvenue . Elle et Claire, sa property manager, ont su nous conseiller et nous aider à organiser nos activités, en fonction de nos goûts . Ainsi, nous avons pu faire une croisière gourmande inoubliable dans la baie de Tamarindo, nous initier au paddle, participer à un lâcher de jeunes tortues avec l'association WWF Central America , entre autres centres d'intérêts et escapades . Valérie a assuré elle même la décoration d'Océanis, lui donnant tout son charme par une touche si personnelle . Nous y avons trouvé tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour nous y sentir bien . Nos lieux de rendez-vous étaient bien sur la piscine , avec son jacuzzi, et ... la fontaine pour son eau fraiche! Il nous reste de ces lieux un souvenir merveilleux et nous n'avons qu'une envie : y revenir pour un long, long séjour . Hasta pronto !

Perfect Vacations in a true Haven of Peace

Staying at Villa Oceanis was a unique experience for my family and I, beyond our expectations ! We went to Costa Rica to spend time all together, my parents and I living in different part of the world. Meeting in that singular place will be truly unforgettable. Luxurious nature is everywhere and we had the chance to see monkeys, hummingbirds, iguanas, crabs etc ... just on our door step. The Ocean view is amazingly breathtaking and overall, we were so glad to take advantage of it directly from the swimming-pool ! At the villa, we felt like in a charming cocoon, perfect for us 4, with all the amenities we needed, very clean and well-maintained. What surprised us the most was the presence of an onsite manager, that was very kind to us and helpful to advise us on various activities. For a rental of this price range, we didn't expect that service at all and thanks to this lovely person, we felt we truly accessed to 'Real Costa Rica', enjoying nature paddle surfing, zip lining and visiting national parks but also assisting to singular events like a tope guanacasteco (rodeo) or turtle liberation. Our stay at Villa Oceanis was an everyday discovery, educationally and emotionally strong, that's why it was sincerely one of our best vacations ever.

Outstanding!

Outstanding time at the spectacular and special Villa Oceanis! We couldn't have asked for more. From the breathtaking ocean views, to the interior finishes of the Villa, the daily impeccable housekeeping, the beautifully maintained grounds and, most of all our wonderful concierge Patty. She made us feel right at home and was the most gracious hostess we could ever hope for. By the time we left we had fondly nicknamed her St. Patty! I highly recommend Villa Oceanis. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Unforgettable

December 2014 We just spent an unforgettable vacation with family and friends at Villa Diosa Del Mar and Oceania. From the moment we arrived Patty, the villa concierge, greeted us with open arms and a beautiful smile. She opened the front door to show us an ocean view we will not forget. Beautifully maintained tropically lush grounds and gardened pathways joining the different dwellings, hammocks and seating amongst palm trees to capture ocean views and sunsets, beach path to wading pools full of life at low tide, and snorkeling beach steps away with tropical fish. Expansive green yard space for sunset yoga(thank you, Patty for organizing, Dianna and Rosalia for teaching us), football or soccer games, or just lounging. The pools were refreshing and clean(thank you, William), the house and rooms always tidied(thank you, Yorleni & Odixi), with clean pool and beach towels always. Patty is located right next door, and likely needed a holiday after her attentiveness to our every need and request. Patty organized groceries upon our arrival, a cook, sunset yogas, outstanding golf at Hacienda Pinilla, zip line and horseback riding at Pura Aventura, surfing with Nicholas at Longosta Beach, Tamarindo, a wonderful dining experience at Villa Deveena, and many other things. We also ventured out for meals on our own at restaurants---Amigos, Cafe Playa Negra, and especially Villa Deveena are musts. Renting cars is essential, a GPS is a good idea too. Every area within the villas has beautiful artwork and lighting, unique furnishings, woodwork and architectural details throughout. The attention to detail is endless. Wildlife and nature abounds---palm trees, orchids, flowers, iguanas on the roof, birds, monkeys traversing overhead, butterflies and other interesting insects(it is a rainforest!). Valerie and Patrick, you have an amazing property and have found priceless staff in Patty, Yorleni, Odix and William. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Villa Diosa del Mar and Oceania with us. wonderful vacation in the Ocean front home.

had an wonderful vacation at the Oceanis house. Junquillal is a very quiet and unique village.This beachfront home is beautifully finished and furnished. The views are stunning, the pool is immacultate and the grounds are lush. The staff is very friendly and helpful. we enjoyed surfing in world class waves at just 500m from the house. we had a blast!! cant wait to come back!!! Thank you Fabrice and Patty and the dogs ;)
