My name is Gavin. I, along with my wife Sarah, manage the property. We have two children of 11 and 8 years old. Lucaya Gardens is our family business built condo. I have been involved in the project from conception to finish. I have literally shed blood, sweat and tears into it and am very proud of our achievement. I spent 18 months working on the project before my family joined me which was tough but it has all been worth it as we now also live in the building.
Why they chose this property
We first came to Grand Bahama Island in 2004 on a cruise following a week spent in Disney Orlando FL. We were only on the island for a day but we immediately knew that this was where we wanted to live. Year round sun, beautiful oceans and so much to do sold us on the spot! My father-in-law and I came the following year to see what properties were available and we know that Port Lucaya and Taino Beach were by far the best spots for a vacation so it was here or nowhere!! We were fortunate to acquire the lot on Jennings Place, some 6 months after our trip. The history!
