The Steadings is a luxury, modern 3 Bedroomed, 2 bathroom first floor apartment set in the heart of the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. As locals we can give advice on places to go and activities to try out.

A quick walk will take you into the bustling Aviemore village centre and a 10 minute drive to the base of Cairngorm mountain.

The Steadings is the ideal base to tour the Scottish Highlands.

Our place is to the North end of Aviemore, a 15 minutes’ walk from the train/bus station, perfectly placed to walk to the Old Bridge Inn, Cairngorm Hotel and The Coffee Corner. A quiet cul-de-sac but only 15 minutes walk from town. This is the perfect place for families, couples or single travellers.

Centrally located and all within 15 miles of Amazing Place, Aviemore is the UK's No 1 Adventure Hub for outdoor activities with ski-ing (alpine and touring) rock climbing, biking, kayaking, sailing & wind surfing, fishing, shooting and Championship Golf as well as a multitude of activities for families of all ages.
National Cycle Route 7, The Speyside Way and The Cairngorm Round are all popular attractions for visitors. We've hosted delegates for conferences held at MacDonalds Resort, students on courses at Glenmore Lodge alongside international visitors from all over the world.

Families can enjoy local nature & wildlife walks, swimming, ice-skating, sheep-dog exhibitions, playing in the adjacent woods, walking in the mountains, visit the reindeer, play at Landmark Outdoor Adventure Park or if you are lucky, observe the amazing natural lightshow of the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) after the sun sets.

Adventurists can try the Zip Trek Park, Gorge Walking, White Water rafting, High Ropes Courses, Archery, Pump Bike Tracks, Wild Swim in Rivers and Lochs, or just simply relax on the UK's highest beach at Loch Morlich with an ice-cream from the cafe.

Outdoor& Cycle shops - there are plenty, such as Nevisport, Cairngorm Mountain Sports, Ellis Brigham, Tiso's, Mike's Bikes & Bothy Bikes.

Around our Amazing Place you can often see the Red Squirrels jumping through the conifer trees and if you are quiet, you'll see them feeding on the pine cones. Deer, birds and the very best that mother nature provides is right on your door step, ready for you to explore. You are just 2 mins away from the trailhead of Craigellachie Nature Reserve, where if you are lucky, you may also see majestic Osprey fishing from the loch.

The Whisky Trail. We are 40 mins from Dufftown, Cairn Distillery is 20 minutes away towards Grantown on Spey, The Spey Distillery is near Feshie Bridge, Kinrara Gin is a 15 minute walk and Cairngorm Brewery has local tours.
