About this property

Be in the center of all Mt. Hood has to offer. Our chalet is in the heart of Government Camp. You can walk one-two blocks into town to go to resturaunts, grab the shuttle to Timberline, activities at Multipor/Ski Bowl, sleigh rides during the holidays, even a grocery store for the items you forgot.

Government Camp is only 45 minutes from Portland and PDX by car.

Our chalet is off a plowed street in winter and includes off street parking for 2-3 cars. Although it looks like a two story in the winter, it is actually three stories and includes a cozy living room with fireplace, half bath, kitchen and dining rooms on the second floor, upstairs is the master bedroom with queen and additional bedroom with a full and two twins. There is a shared full bathroom up there. In the basement or first floor is a family room with a woodstove, a futon, if needed, and a bedroom with a queen and a full bath. It works great for two families.

Our admin fee is the 6% lodging tax for Clackamas County. Not extra income for us. The State of Oregon lodging tax is collected in VRB0 quote.

Our stay

Overall the house was cute and just what we needed. The basement smelled strong of must so some couldn’t sleep down there. The house was clean and warm. We left a few items and trying to connect to retrieve them hasn’t worked at all.
