Coziest (note primitive) wooden cabin close to the sky mountain in the middle of the forest

Would you like to sleep surrounded by nature and wake up to a view of the outdoors? Then you’ve come to the right place.
At the top of our property, we’ve built a little gem of a treehouse with large floor-to-ceiling windows.
The site is basic, as there is neither a toilet nor running water. We’ll provide a 10-liter water jug that can be refilled as needed. You’ll use the outdoors as a restroom (note: we’re working hard on another primitive solution).
So this spot is for those who want a little more luxury than a shelter or a tent. Here, you’ll find a comfortable double bed, electricity, a coffee maker, and an electric kettle. If it gets chilly, there’s a wood-burning stove and an electric radiator. However, we’d prefer that you use the wood-burning stove; we’ll provide firewood, and there’s plenty more if needed.
On the terrace, you can sit and enjoy the tranquility of the forest; we also have a gas grill and a gas burner available.
The interior is cozy, and we hope you’ll feel right at home. We also hope you’ll respect that this is a smoke-free area, so everyone can enjoy the place.
Since the cabin is located on our property, we’ll often be around, and we’d like our driveway to remain private. You can park for free along the road or park by the small forest path that leads to the cabin.
In the area, you’ll find the most beautiful lakes in the Silkeborg area within walking distance. It’s about 4 km to Denmark’s cleanest lake—Slåensø—and also about 4–5 km to Himmelbjerget. A bike ride or short drive will take you to Almindesø, where you can go for a swim and buy ice cream and coffee.
