About this property

Relaxing Country Home: wide open spaces

Our relaxing country home is surrounded by some of the best hunting and fishing locations in the Mid-west. The sunset/sunrise views and peaceful location make for the perfect place to stay. The house is located only 10 miles from Lovewell State Park, 10 miles from the Jamestown Marsh Wildlife area, and 40 miles from Waconda Lake .
Also, Belleville, Beloit and Concordia are all within a 30 minute drive.
The space
You will have full access to the house and plenty of privacy. We have recently renovated the three bedrooms and have four double beds and one queen size bed for you and your company to enjoy a good night's rest.

Whether you are on a solo adventure or with friends for a weekend get-a-way this is the perfect place for you to stay.
Guest access
Linens, sheets, blankets and coffee are provided. We have shampoo if you need some. You will also have access to our BBQ grill, as well as, the garage for your vehicle if needed.
Currently there is cable tv that streams through the Cunningham TVNow app and you can also stream many things on the 50 inch smart TV.
Other things to note
The house is located 5-15 minutes away from a grocery store, liquor store, hardware store, convenience store/gas, and restaurants. In the town of Formoso there is a bar-n-grill just up the road that is open everyday but Saturday.

And stay at this property. Perfect quiet, great yard for the puppers and each time we've came we love exploring a new part of the area. The Mahin's are great hosts and it means a lot to be to be able to travel with our dog.

Baptism

We were in town for a baptism in nearby Belleville. This was quick and easy to get to, and our kids really enjoyed the quiet country life for the weekend. It was a beautiful property and we enjoyed our stay. Caleb communicated well with us and we would book again.

We was extremely pleased with the setting, comfort and cleanliness of the rental. We even had lunch at the small restaurant in Formoso and the burgers were delicious. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing rural setting.

My NEW favorite Country Getaway!

This was our first time reserving a VRBO. I wanted something in the country with peace and quiet. The owners were very welcoming and checked on us making sure we arrived ok and told us to make ourselves at home. We walked along the country backroads and heard Coyotes howling at night, walked out onto the front porch to hear the sounds of wild Turkeys in the morning while drinking our morning coffee. It’s definitely away from town, however NOT far but maybe 10-15 miles or so and we absolutely LOVED the Country Charm. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect fit for what we needed.

The property is located in a small, very town in the middle of North Kansas. The house is an older but has been updated and is comfortable. We enjoyed the gas grill with great sunsets. Very quite and peaceful. The host stopped by and was very pleasant and went out of his way to make us feel at home. We look forward to staying their in the future.
