Welcome to this cozy cottage, which is located high up and undisturbed on a large natural plot. The view of the fjord constantly changes color and light. Enjoy the view from the small sofa arrangement in the glass bay window, or move around on the terraces to find the sun, shade, shelter, or breeze—if you don't hurry to grab the hammock between the trees.
The house was built in 1986 and has been updated within the last five years with a new recycled kitchen, new bathroom, new pine plank floors, and underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom. The interior design is vintage-inspired with an emphasis on harmony, a summer house atmosphere, and comfort. The living room is spacious with several sections and beautiful light from the east, south, and north.
The large grounds are often visited by wild guests such as deer, hares, or foxes, and you can enjoy a rich bird life. The wood-burning stove provides extra warmth during the cooler seasons. The rooms are not large, but the space is optimally utilized with sliding doors and easy storage solutions such as wall cabinets, hooks, and a bamboo ladder.
Just 175 meters along a path and staircase, you will find the beach with views of Mors, Thy, Livø, and Himmerland. In the summer, it is wonderful to start and end the day with a refreshing dip in the fjord. The nature experiences are the best, with the unique geology and opportunities to find fossils in the moler's million-year-old ash layer. Set aside time to visit the Fur Museum with its fascinating exhibits and finds. The many local artists and craft shops are also worth a visit, e.g. the café På Herrens Mark, which offers unique ceramics, pancakes, and a free museum for men! Fur Bryghus and Havens Deli also tempt visitors with high-quality food and drink.
