Log cabin with sauna in the Upper Harz Mountains

This handcrafted log cabin offers an authentic mountain experience in the Upper Harz region. Each log has been carefully hand-crafted to create a harmonious log wall that gives this house its unique character.





The spacious upper floor houses the living and sleeping areas and offers breathtaking views of the mountain meadows through the large gable windows. On the ground floor, you will find a custom-designed kitchen, a bathroom, and a cozy dining area, all with lovingly crafted wooden details. One dog is welcome, but unfortunately, due to limited space, multiple pets cannot be accommodated.





The 1000 square meter natural property invites you to linger and surprises with various seating areas around the house. The special highlight is the outdoor sauna behind the house, designed as a hunting blind, which provides relaxing moments in nature and can be used for an additional €20 per person, including bathrobe and towel for your stay.





From Buntenbock, you can walk directly to the Hasenbacher Teich pond, which is ideal for swimming and fishing. The historic ponds of the Oberharzer Wasserregal water management system tell the story of the region's mining history. All shopping facilities and restaurants can be found in Clausthal-Zellerfeld, just 3 km away.
