About this property

Slow living near the fjord and the city

Mors is the largest island in the Limfjord and is known for its unique and magical nature, offering miles of coastline, experiences for the whole family, and space to just be together.

This beautiful red wooden cottage is described as "small but nice," which accurately captures its overall feel and atmosphere. It exudes light, coziness, warmth, and, not least, a very special tranquility. Your shoulders will automatically relax the moment you step through the door. The interior design is characterized by many unique flea market finds and old items from the house, which add a lot of soul and charm to the place. Here you will find everything you need for a relaxing weekend or vacation.

The cottage has a beautiful garden where you will probably spend many hours basking in the sun. Or perhaps sheltering from the rain in the small annex with coffee and card games. The garden is surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants in enchanting colors. Take a nap in the hammock to the sound of birds singing. When you want to take a bath, you can do so in the garden in the outdoor wooden-clad outdoor bath with hot water. Light the fire in the evening, enjoy the peace and quiet and the birds singing in the background, and tell tall tales long into the night.

Just a two-minute walk from the cottage is the lovely sandy beach, Østerstrand. Here, the water depth rises slowly, so you can safely let the children splash around, play beach volleyball in the water, catch crabs, or just lie on the soft white sand. Take a family trip to Jesperhus, which offers amusement rides, a water park, a playground, and lots of entertainment. Enjoy the old trading town of Nykøbing Mors. Here, the pedestrian street is bustling with life and happy days, and it will lead you directly down to the harbor, where you can experience the authentic harbor atmosphere with lots of yachts and fishing boats.

The vacation home is ideal for a family of four, with sleeping accommodations in both the small annex and inside the house. The sofa bed in the living room can be used for additional sleeping space. Bed linen and towels can be rented for DKK 50 per person.

In this holiday home you dont have to compromise between enjoying nature's peace and city life; you get both withing a walking distance! There is also a bathing bridge and nice beach just 200 meters away. A truly ideal location for people who like to walk to places! The holiday home is cosy and styled with nice vintage findings. There is a large and beautiful fenced garden which was ideal for our small kids and dog. We would love to return and are happy to recommend this small but mighty place 😊.
