About this property

Nordic style in Mols Hills overlooking lake

In the heart of the hilly nature of Mols Bjerge you will find this modern holiday home directly down to a small lake. The Scandinavian aesthetic and Nordic style of the cottage oozes tranquility, making it the perfect retreat.

The interior of the cottage is minimalist, and the cottage's family room is decorated with wood paneling on the wall by the sofa and a new wooden ceiling, which reinforces the feeling of being close to nature. The cottage's large windows let in the natural light, and from the sofa you can look out at the trees in the garden and the hilly nature of the horizon near the wood-burning stove.

Take shelter on the covered terrace when it's raining, and when you want peace and quiet, take a nap on one of the terrace alcoves near the cottage's gables or on the large lounge sofa. The cottage also has a hidden terrace directly down to the lake at the end of the garden. Pour a glass of wine and watch the carp dance in the lake.

Near the cottage you can hike in the wild forests of Mols Bjerge or take a trip to Femmøller Strand, which is only 2.5 kilometers away. After a day at the beach, you can soak up the salt water under the cottage's outdoor shower.

We had a wonderful stay. It was really cozy, and the house is superbly equipped. The kitchen is great, and the terrace is a lovely place to sit, grill, and enjoy the peace and quiet. Perfect for unwinding! We’d love to come back. Many thanks to René & Anna: your house is a special place!

We had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful house for a week. Check-in was easy. The open-concept layout with separate bedrooms was very comfortable for us. The fireplace and fire pit created a cozy atmosphere and made for some great evenings. The location is off the beaten path from the usual tourist hotspots, so a car is usually necessary for errands and outings. Keep in mind that the house has only one bathroom—with six people, you really have to get along well. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
