Welcome to this original cottage in a fantastic location in the Risør archipelago. The cabin was designed by the host's father, who was an architect in the early 1960s, which is why even the smallest detail has been thought through. Here you'll experience modernist style at its best, with an atrium that gives you fantastic views, shelter from the wind and plenty of sunlight.
Inside, the cabin is characterized by a modern style, with a thoughtful design that preserves the view to the sea, shielding from the southwest wind and optimizing the evening sun. The atrium is the heart of the cabin, where you'll experience more sun, less wind and warmer temperatures than usual. The cabin has plenty of space for 9 adults or 11 with children.
The cabin is located in a beautiful natural area, primarily overlooking Skagerak. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet, while having close access to the sea for a refreshing dip. The cabin has a delightful outdoor area with a barbecue, pizza oven and beautiful garden furniture for free use. There are also plenty of opportunities to explore the area on the water - you can borrow the host's kayaks, waveboards, SUP boards etc. which are included in the price. Those with boating skills can rent a boat for 5000 for a week.
When you want to explore the area, you can head to Risør. Here you'll find local shops and cafés, and for the younger members of the family there are opportunities to buy ice cream. Risør and the surrounding archipelago offer a wealth of activities and experiences.
