Trysil cabin at Jevnaker with scenic view

Welcome to this lovely Trysil cabin, located in the heart of beautiful Jevnaker. The cabin was originally built in 1963 but was recently completely renovated in 2021, offering a unique combination of traditional charm and modern comfort. Large windows allow you to enjoy the natural surroundings even from inside the living room.



The cabin’s interior is tastefully designed with a touch of Edvin Helseth’s style, known for his use of pine in Norwegian homes. The compact floor plan is optimized to maximize space, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere. Perfect for small families or couples seeking a relaxing escape from everyday life.



The outdoor area is just as impressive as the interior. The cabin is surrounded by a spacious lot that offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and recreation. Here, you can enjoy the sunsets behind Vikerfjell or have a cozy picnic under the starry sky.



The Jevnaker area is rich in activities and attractions. Visit the famous Hadeland Glassverk or take a hike on Svarttjernshøgda. In the summer, there are also opportunities for swimming nearby, and in the winter, you can explore the ski trails. No matter the season, Jevnaker offers the perfect backdrop for creating lasting memories.

Note: The cabin is basic, with electricity, water drawn from a well, and a Cinderella composting toilet. It’s about a 300-meter walk from the parking lot up to the cabin.
