In 2020, Skæsihytten underwent a huge transformation in which virtually everything in the cottage from 1963 was refurbished. We're talking Dinesen floors throughout, a wood-burning stove that has won the EU's environmental award, and beautiful details like the old chimney that now connects the old house and the new extension.
The decor is personal and the love of Danish design is evident in every room. And if you explore the house, you'll find several hidden lofts for cozy overnight stays and den building.
This is a great place to vacation with multiple generations or with friends, as there is plenty of space and fantastic large common areas. But it's not just the inside that's the wow factor. The house sits on a fantastic high point with sea views and large trees on the natural grounds.
Out in the small annex you can actually sleep a family of four if you have slightly older children sleeping up in the loft, while there are seven beds inside the house.
