Captain's house with modern details on Sylt Island

Tereza's 300-year-old captain's house is located in the small village of Archsum on the island of Sylt, between flowering meadows and not far from the vast dune landscape. It is one of the oldest houses in the village and impresses with its thatched roof and original Frisian charm.

The stylish interior is a mix of antique furniture with lovingly placed modern accents.

The house has a light-flooded living room with a large dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. A fireplace room with a large sofa ensures cozy warmth and cozy hours in convivial company even in the colder seasons. A special highlight is the captain's room with antique desk and alcove bed. The bright gallery room with dining table and piano can accommodate up to eight people for breakfast.

There are three bedrooms, each with a double bed, and one bedroom with two single beds. Four bathrooms and a separate WC offer enough space and privacy for a large family or groups of friends.

The approx. 1000 m² property is well separated from the neighborhood thanks to its garden landscape with hedges and bushes. Fountains, loungers and several seating areas invite you to relax and unwind on sunny afternoons.

The largely untouched nature, which presents itself in the form of meadows, fields and the Wadden Sea of Archsum, is a real dream for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Cycling tours through the idyllic heathland and long bathing days on the wide sandy beaches of Sylt are just some of the many leisure activities you can enjoy here. Especially in spring and fall, numerous species of geese and other birds can be observed in the wet meadows.
