and 45 minutes from Strasbourg.
Saverne also has a train station from which you can reach Strasbourg city centre in 25 minutes.

Discover a haven of peace between the Moselle, Alsace and the Vosges
It was in August 2025; from the very first glance, we fell in love with this house. Nestled on the edge of the village, a stone’s throw from the forest, it immediately gave us a sense of calm and serenity, and we knew it would be more than just a home: a place for gathering and sharing.
We are a couple in our 50s and 60s; our children are grown-up and independent. Christine works in administration, whilst Joseph, as a translator and director, has had many theatrical adventures, from local festivals and national theatres right up to the Avignon Festival.
Now, we have decided to open the doors of this gîte to welcome other couples and families. Indeed, we love taking the time to chat and advise you on the most beautiful walks, the typical villages and the best places to visit in the region.
Whether you’re coming as a couple for a romantic weekend or with your family for a holiday, our gîte is designed to make you feel at home, in a preserved and peaceful natural setting.
