Relax with the whole family in this accommodation, located inside a 3-story villa with 5 apartments, on a small hill surrounded by greenery yet just 900 metres from the San Menaio waterfront. Enjoy the large covered veranda—much appreciated because it lets you spend time outdoors—and the very spacious interior of the house. This apartment is on the middle floor of the villa, near the outdoor garden, the barbecue, the outdoor shower, and the entrance gate.

The Space
In a villa spread over 3 floors and divided into several apartments, in a green area, this large house features 3 master bedrooms + 3 sleeping spaces in the hallway, a living room with a kitchenette, and 2 bathrooms, one of which is brand new. The villa is situated in a very quiet and relaxing setting, surrounded by greenery, but it is not isolated—there are other villas and houses nearby. There is no air conditioning. The apartment is very spacious and cool, as it is built with tuff masonry and shaded by the attic above; the two bathrooms are highly appreciated, as is the covered veranda with a view of the sea. The apartment is very close to the villa’s entrance gate, the garden, the barbecue area, and the outdoor shower. The three double bedrooms contain only double beds; there is no space for a third single bed. In the hallway, there is a bunk bed and a single bed. The washing machine has been placed in the kitchenette. The master bathroom has been completely renovated, including the plumbing and fixtures, with high-quality finishes and materials, and a very spacious shower has been installed in place of the bathtub.
The large covered veranda, with a sea view, is very popular for relaxing outdoors in the cool air; the garden features an outdoor shower and a barbecue. A car is necessary for the steep climb back from the boardwalk, which is 900 metres away; parking is available outside the villa. Along the boardwalk, there are private beaches as well as long stretches of public beach, the train station, two butcher shops, a pharmacy, and several supermarkets.

Guest Access
The only shared areas are the hallways inside the villa, as well as the garden, which includes a barbecue, outdoor shower, and sink. Parking cars or motorcycles inside the villa is prohibited, both to preserve indoor space and to prevent damage to the outdoor flooring, which was completely renovated in 2024 using high-quality materials. Parking is available on a lot next to the villa or on the street in front of the house; this street is paved and wide, as it is a two-way street.

Other things to keep in mind
In August, a minimum booking of 1 week is required, from Saturday to Saturday.

In addition to the total price paid on the website for the reservation, you must add the amount for the tourist tax, which the owner will collect on-site and then pay to the Municipality of Vico del Gargano. Before arrival, guests must email Mr. Matassa a copy of their identification documents so that the information can be forwarded to the police headquarters.

If you plan to bring small pets, you must discuss this before making the reservation to obtain authorisation.

Check-in begins at 2:00 p.m. (with the option to leave luggage before the scheduled check-in time); check-out must be completed by 10:00 a.m. at the latest.

We recommend that you properly sort your trash during your stay; furthermore, before departure, to ensure no trash is left in the house, guests may dispose of it at the designated recycling centre located in San Menaio.

There is no Wi-Fi.
Pillows, mattress covers, and bedspreads are provided on each bed. Sheets, pillowcases, and bath linens are not provided.
Only in exceptional cases, upon payment of a surcharge to be agreed upon in advance, may sheets and pillowcases be rented; in any case, even for a fee, bath linens are not provided, so guests must bring their own dressing gowns, beach towels, and bath towels.
The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, cutlery, glasses, and plates.
