White wooden house on island's most charming alley
You’ll be staying in one of the island’s oldest houses—a white wooden house full of charm and history from a time when the narrow alleys offered shelter from the sea winds. There are terraces at the front and back, as well as a south-facing balcony. You’re right on the alley, close to the sea, cliffs, and swimming spots.
Inside, you’ll find hardwood floors, low ceilings, and large windows that let in plenty of light. The old-fashioned kitchen has character, and on the ground floor you’ll find a living room with a fireplace, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, a TV room, and an additional toilet.
The house has no garden but two terraces—perfect for those who want to be close to the sea and the life of the archipelago. The south-facing balcony is ideal for morning coffee and evening sun.
Explore nearby islands such as Åstol, Dyrön, and Käringön by ferry, visit the Nordic Watercolor Museum in Skärhamn, or go kayaking from Bleket. On the island, there are three seaside restaurants, a sauna with ocean views, and the House of Herring, where you can learn about the island’s herring tradition. The Säby hiking trail and Pilane Sculpture Park offer nature experiences.
