About this property

A charming Georgian manor set within beautifully landscaped private grounds

A charming Georgian manor set within three acres of beautifully landscaped private grounds, with the River Dyfi forming its border on the edge of Snowdonia. Guests enjoy exclusive access to a private riverbank with breathtaking views across the Dyfi Valley.

Ideal for adventure groups, families, or friends, the location is perfect for walking, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, or discovering the beauty of Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia. Just a 10-minute drive from Machynlleth or Dolgellau, where you’ll find welcoming shops, pubs, and restaurants.

The property’s back garden opens directly onto the River Dyfi, famed for its exceptional fishing—particularly for brown trout, salmon, and sea trout. Widely regarded as one of the UK’s finest sea trout rivers, the Dyfi offers fishing from April 1st to October 17th (no fishing permitted on Sundays).

Guests can enjoy fly fishing right from the garden with a valid Fishing Rod Licence (available online or at the local post office in Cemmaes Road) and a permit, which can be purchased at the Cemmaes Road Post Office.
