The gleaming white kitchen is a light-filled joy with an Aga, the absolute beating heart of any home. Well-equipped and beautifully presented with all the kit you need, there's even a pantry for plenty of storage. The sofa space will help someone keep the chef company. There's heaps more seating space with a reading room next door. The original stone house is cleverly connected to an old barn via the utility area which has patio doors leading to a hidden sun trap patio area for al fresco dining. A perfectly placed family bathroom with a bath also on the ground floor is here too at the back of the house.
In the barn, the games room will be a magnet throughout the stay – great for fresh air too with the patio doors. Plus, a TV for the gamers! Next another sitting room space with smart upholstery and a wood-burner. For those that need to work, a desk area will be a haven of peace. There are games and puzzles and a plethora of books about local flora, fauna, birds and history to help gather some holiday activity plans. Saving the best until last – a sun room with plump sofa seating and lush garden views. Off the sitting room staircase leads up to a wing with two bedrooms and a bathroom – bath with shower over.
Another wing leads from the wooden staircase off the kitchen. You are going to love the first floor living room up there. A vast vaulted place to kick back with a dash of eccentricity and lush arched views. With patio doors to the rear and a Juliet balcony – it's a place for air and wine to circulate.Bedrooms are calm and warm upstairs here – two bright and breezy twin rooms, you won't draw the blinds in this room. Plus, a rustic-chic super king bedroom. Sip tea in bed, admire the views, feel lucky to be here. The bathroom with bath and a shower is cute and sparkling.
The gardens consist of lawned areas on three levels. A sweet spot for BBQ cooking is tucked away on the lower level. There's a fire pit for the balmy evenings out watching the stars on clear nights. A sweet nature trail features along the back of Dulas Bach for the morning 400m run or just a lingering dawdle. There's plenty of storage for bikes and kayaks and so on.
You won't want to leave.
