Ratings on Vrbo were completely bogus! I knew about the property and believed from reviews it had been well maintained or even remodeled. WRONG! I will be very cautious booking though Vrbo from now on and will seek other options. This place was dirty, with missing light bulbs, dingy and stained linens, TV cable disconnected, dead bugs and dirt left in window sills, and room used as storage including possessions of prior occupant. I want my money back! I did cut the stay short and wouldn’t have stayed at all if I had other options.

If this had been my only experience with Vrbo I’d never use again - and I will be uber-cautious next time. The reviews for this literal flea bag hotel were obviously falsified or bit-created. Linens were stained and dingy, light bulbs were missing or inoperable, dirt and dead bugs in window ledges and bathroom floor, no toiletries, TV cable disconnected…and room used as storage including possessions of a previous occupant. If there had been another room available in the county I would have just walked away. The owner/mgr tried to appease me and was courteous but seemed to have no idea how to prepare a clean room for guests. Those “exceptional” ratings for this place are completely bogus! I cut my stay short by a night and will seek money back for the entire stay! 😡
