The bedroom offers a peaceful retreat, featuring a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, and soft lighting for added comfort. A dedicated desk and chair are also available, making the space ideal for remote work or planning your next adventure. All beds come with hotel-quality linens to ensure a restful night's sleep.

Lastly, the modern bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, a stylish vanity, and fresh towels provided for your convenience. Thoughtful touches throughout the space ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Guests have access to the entire apartment located on the 1st floor. An elevator is available for easy access.

We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home, so please take good care of it as if it were your own.

A modern and comfortable apartment in Guimarães, located close to the city center of Portugal’s birthplace. Guests can easily explore the UNESCO-listed historic center, including the iconic Guimarães Castle, the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza, and the charming medieval streets filled with cafés, restaurants, and local shops.

The apartment also benefits from its proximity to the Guimarães Railway Station, providing convenient connections to other cities, and to the Centro Cultural Vila Flor, one of the city's main cultural venues, hosting concerts, exhibitions, and events throughout the year.

Visitors can also take the cable car to Penha Mountain for panoramic views, hiking trails, and beautiful natural surroundings. The city offers a rich blend of history, culture, gastronomy, and traditional Minho charm, making it an ideal base for discovering northern Portugal.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

The nearest train station, Guimarães (Linha de Guimarães), is approximately a 5–10 minute drive or 20–25 minute walk from the property, offering regular connections to Porto (São Bento and Campanhã) and surrounding areas.

Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO) is approximately a 40–45 minute drive from the property, depending on traffic.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 2 PM, pending availability and confirmation.


There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.


Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.


For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.


Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
