Gorgeous Royal Historic Lodge in the lush Scottish Borders of Scotland.
The Greenhill Shooting Lodge was established around 1764 by the 5th Duke of Roxburghe, to have a family shooting retreat a stone’s throw from his in-town home, Floors Castle.
The lodge and it's full grounds have been fully designer renovated to provide comfortable and thoughtful main gathering rooms. We have 12 luxurious individually designed bedrooms & suites offer both private and shared accommodations to fit the needs for up to 24 guests.
We’ve also have a separate guest cottage, the Bothy Cottage, with a full kitchen and sitting room, which sleeps an additional 3 guests should you wish to add the Cottage to your booking for an additional overnight fee.
We have so much more to include in this rental: See the Bothy side of the property for your own private pub, The Hound & The Hare. How about your own whisky|cigar lounge, The Bond Room. Pus, a drying room for you sportsmen/sportswomen - Boots & Brown Bess. The giant stone fire-pit nestled between the main lodge and the Bothy, to gather around complete with tartan blankets to cozy up under.
Nearby you have the Schloss Roxbughe Hotel for championship golf, their spa and fine dining. Nearby towns of Kelso w/ Floors Castle to tour & boutique shopping. Charming, historic towns of Melrose & Jedburgh and the sea-sweep of the Northumberland Coast/England, short miles away.
We can also help arrange shooting/hunting/fishing expeditions with our renowned local Outfitters. Personal on-site chefs to meet your culinary needs. Bagpipers, yoga classes, massages, an on-site sauna... and a full time House Manager to provide concierge style help and service for whatever your needs are.
