Casa Chiara is a charming 40-square-meter detached house spread over two levels, located in the picturesque village of Picenze, a hamlet in the municipality of Barisciano. This cosy and well-organized accommodation is the ideal choice for couples or families seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway surrounded by the tranquility and unspoiled nature of Abruzzo.

The first cosy double bedroom is located on the ground floor. Upstairs on the ground floor are the second double bedroom, a functional bathroom, and an exceptionally bright living area. The living room opens onto two mirrored panoramic balconies (one flush with the wall and one larger), offering a magnificent, unobstructed view of the lush Aterno Valley. For the warmer months, the house provides a fan, and for those travelling with small children, a cot is available upon request. Your four-legged friends are also welcome. For maximum convenience, there is free public parking just 5 metres from the property.

Picenze di Barisciano enjoys an exceptional location, nestled within the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park. The surrounding Aterno Valley is a true paradise for lovers of active and outdoor tourism, offering beautiful hiking trails, cycling routes, and horseback riding.

Lovers of untamed nature can easily explore the Campo Imperatore plateau, known as “Little Tibet.” In addition, the historic city of L’Aquila, with its architectural treasures and amenities, is just a 15-minute drive away, making this home the perfect base for combining nature, relaxation, and cultural exploration.
