Converted in 2003 from a 400-year-old cow shed, the two-bed, pet-friendly home blends character with comfort and is ideal for groups of friends looking to explore the surrounding South Wales landscapes. Adventure lovers can head to Cwmcarn (5.5 miles) for cross-country and downhill mountain biking, while history enthusiasts are spoilt for choice with Cardiff Castle (10 miles), the impressive Caerphilly Castle (9 miles), Castell Coch, Caldicot Castle (18.5 miles) and the grand Raglan Castle (24 miles). Cardiff (14 miles) is brimming with shopping and dining opportunities, along with cultural attractions, and Barry Island (27.5 miles) is perfect for a classic seaside day out. The Big Pit National Coal Museum (17.5 miles) provides a fascinating insight into the region’s heritage. Keen golfers will also find several courses nearby.
