When you’re ready to explore, you’ll find plenty nearby – from countryside walks right on your doorstep to the well-loved coal-fired fish and chips in nearby Upton or the indulgent ice cream parlour at Blyton. There is a wildlife pond with nearby seating close to the cottage and this provides a great place to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Aviation enthusiasts may even spot unique aircraft overhead as nearby is a private airfield originally built for WW2 and if you are lucky you will see some really unique aircrafts, as well as the home of The Red Arrows being in Lincolnshire they regularly practise in the skies over the area. Further afield Hemswell Antiques Centre is a great day out as is the city of Lincoln.


Inside, the cottage blends character and comfort. Low beams and cosy touches create a welcoming lounge space, complete with a reclining leather sofa – ideal for unwinding after a day exploring. Stepping into the entrance hall, kick off your shoes and coats and wander through to the bright, well-equipped kitchen, decorated in neutral tones giving it a bright and airy feel. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook up a good meal during your stay, such as a fridge, electric oven and hob, plus seating and a table for two. Moving through to the lounge with reclining leather sofa you might find hard to leave, so put your feet up in front of the TV and enjoy some well earned rest, the low beams really add to the character of the cottage. The double bedroom is cosy and serene and provides a good night’s sleep with a window overlooking the garden. The stylish bathroom gives you the best of both worlds, with a freestanding bath for long soaks and a rainfall shower for a refreshing start to the day, the bathroom caters for everyone, whatever your preference.


Outside is where this property really shines. the enclosed garden offers a hot tub with parasol over allowing you to enjoy it whatever the weather, there is nearby seating if you fancy dining alfresco and plenty of space to let the dogs run around.
