We loved the Farm House and can’t wait to come back! Spacious, clean and charming. We loved reading about the history of the home. The back and front decks were favorite spots for our group to have coffee and wine and relax. Plenty of great wineries nearby to visit. 10/10 would recommend.
We enjoyed our weekend in wine country while celebrating my niece’s wedding at Helwig winery. Farmhouse was clean and comfortable, the owners were very attentive. We would love to come back again soon!!
This house is the cutest and the location is perfect! We were very comfortable and enjoyed all of it's charm and amenities. The owners were also super attentive and a pleasure to communicate with. We would love to stay here again sometime! It was hard to come home and not see a vineyard out iof the bedroom window!! Thank you so much for everything Cheryl!
We live 5 minutes up the road and were getting married on our property, This Farmhouse was the perfect place for our family to stay the night before the wedding & perfect for photos of us getting ready & then it was the perfect 2 nights for us newlyweds to stay to relax after all the wedding chaos and kick off our honeymoon! PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT! Even though we aren’t far, we are still building our home and We will be back for sure when we need a little local getaway. Cheryl was so amazing and accommodating for us! We appreciate you! 🙏❤️
When we first looked at the online photo of the Farmhouse it looked kind of simple. It was simply wonderful! The large farm house was built in the mid 1800s and was completely renovated a few years ago. All the systems (water, power, gas, TV, wifi) worked perfectly. The house is very cozy and clean. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, plus an extra bathroom downstairs. Of the 3 vineyard houses we have stayed in over the past 4 years, this one was the best, as well as the most reasonable in price. We're coming back!
Everything about this farmhouse is lovely! My friend of 50 years and her husband met my hubby and me for a long weekend of catching up and wine tasting. The house is perfect for 2 or 3 couples as each room has en-suite bathrooms and comfortable beds as well as walk in showers in each bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and a few spices and snacks as well as a coffee maker that does pots of coffee or kcups. We cooked all of our meals there as Amador has limited dining out options.
It was rainy and cold this weekend but we were cozy and warm and had a fantastic time.
My only suggestions to the owners would be to get rid of the Murphy bed in the downstairs bedroom closet as there was nowhere to hang clothes and maybe consider small dressers. We struggled with where to put our clothes when we unpacked. Also the heat stove in the downstairs bedroom was out of order and it would have been helpful this weekend due to the low temperature.
We will definitely come back. We loved the house!
Modernized historic farmhouse in a beautiful location! We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing around the gas fireplace on the wrap around patio at the end of the day. The host was very responsive and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The kitchen was well stocked with items you would not normally find in a rental. It really felt like a comfortable home. The peaceful location in the heart of the foothill wine country is another bonus. I highly recommend this property.
The Farmhouse lives up to its expectations and then some. It can often times be difficult to understand a home listing through the photographs as they are staged in a way to omit or highlight other aspects of the home. This listing hides nothing and you get everything you see. It was immaculately clean, spacious, and dedicated time to detail to the comfort of the guests. This home is a gem and i would not hesitate a second to recommend or even look to stay with my family again.
The six of us have come here for three consecutive years now because this place has it all. Clean, comfortable, quiet, convenient access to dozens of wineries set up for tasting. Plus our host is readily accessible and responsive. Highly recommended!
This is our 2nd stay with these friends in the farmhouse. We’ve been to Amador many times but the last two years we’ve stayed in this perfect little home. It has everything you need to cook great meals, spend time with amazing friends and it is within close proximity to some of the best wineries in the world. I couldn’t ask for anything more. The beds are comfortable. The house is cozy and it’s just all around the best experience ever. The owners are always available and sponsor highly recommend.
We rented this lovely farmhouse and it was the perfect central location for wine tasting in the Plymouth and Amador County wineries. We loved sitting on the porch for breakfast and again in the evening, enjoying the beautiful sunsets and landscaping.
The house has everything that you could possibly need. The kitchen was well stocked. The comfortable bedrooms each had their own bathroom which was stocked with all the essentials.
The owner has thought of everything! It was a wonderful house and the perfect location!
Love this little slice of paradise. Had friends from Tulsa, Oklahoma visiting Amador county and had so much fun. Wineries all around us. can’t wait to do it again.
The property was great for our group of five. Although the house could accommodate more. The interior pictures don't do this house justice. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all very nice. The back deck is gigantic. Although the property is near a main road, you dont hear cars and if you go for a walk the opposite way, you rarely see any cars on the road and its beautiful walk through Vineyards and rolling hills. Since i was the one who made the reservation, I got lots of compliments on my choice.
We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and this was one of the high points! The house is adorable and every detail was considered. Beautiful property and a wrap around deck to relax on. Right in the heart of wine country so we didn’t have to travel far to each winery. We will definitely be back!
We joined two other couples for a relaxing getaway at this charming home. The kitchen is full of light and every item you could hope to find in a VRBO. Each bedroom had its own bathroom plus there was a half bath off the living area. It was rainy and cozy while we were there, but the grounds and patio would be very enjoyable in nicer weather. It is surrounded by some amazing wineries and beautiful countryside.
We were there visiting the Wildetrotter Vineyards and it was the perfect location. The hosts were lovely and the house perfect. Everything was there, even a nice welcome gift. We would highly recommend
Extremely nice house. Great location with easy access to all the Shenandoah valley wine country. The hosts did everything to make our stay wonderful. Lots of small touches that made the experience really special. Highest recommendation!!
We LOVED this property. The host is great and easy to communicate with. The house and property are very well maintained. We loved watching the sunset out on the deck. We would definitely stay here again.
The farmhouse was clean, attractive, well stocked, relaxing, comfortable, and the host/hostess very personable. Kitchen has everything you need. Lots of dishes, cookware, bakeware, cutlery, and condiments to help prepare meals. We only stayed 2 nights but would have liked to been there longer. The fire pit outside was a bonus.
This is a stunning property that was very relaxing! Perfectly met our needs to be close to wineries but still able to have an intimate space. The farmhouse was very clean, orderly, and had a full complement of kitchenware. We were very happy staying there and hope to go back!
