The Space:

Ralph Lauren fabrics set the tone throughout this second-floor apartment, part of one of Val d'Isère's most regarded buildings, developed by a Parisian specialist in alpine properties. The open-plan living area brings together sitting, dining and kitchen zones in one warm, cohesive space. Two sofas and armchairs provide comfortable seating around a smart TV with Freesat channels, DVD player and stereo, with free Wi-Fi throughout. A desk tucked into the corner offers a quiet spot for work or study. The balcony, accessed from the sitting room, catches the afternoon sun and holds a small table and chairs.



The kitchen is well appointed with black stone worktops, a full-size oven with grill, four-ring electric hob, separate microwave, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, and a washer-dryer combination. A kettle and toaster complete the setup. The dining table seats six comfortably.



The master suite sits off the main living area and includes a queen bed, a wall-mounted TV with UK Freesat channels, built-in wardrobes and shelves, and an en-suite bathroom with a full-size bath and shower head, sink, WC and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has twin beds, its own wall-mounted TV with UK Freesat channels, an iPod docking station and DVD player, and access to a private balcony separate from the sitting room. A separate shower room with sink, WC and heated towel rail serves this bedroom. The third bedroom is a compact bunk room with no window, fitted with built-in single beds and a curtain in place of a door, practical for two children or adults. A cupboard on entry houses outdoor clothing, and the building features a coded entrance with a video entry phone. The apartment is set back from the high street, so noise is rarely a concern.



Guest Access:

Guests have the full apartment for their stay. Underground parking for one vehicle is provided on site, with a garage height of 2.1 metres. A ground-floor ski locker is also included.



The Neighborhood:

Les Choucas sits in the heart of Val d'Isère, set back enough from the high street to keep things peaceful but close enough that shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets are on your doorstep. The piste is a short walk away, and everything the village offers, from ski hire to evening dining, is within easy reach.



Getting Around:

Val d'Isère's free shuttle bus runs every 10 to 15 minutes during the day and every 20 to 30 minutes into the evening until 2am, connecting the main areas of the resort. The apartment is centrally located, so the town centre is essentially on your doorstep. For travel further afield, airport transfers are available from Geneva, Lyon and Chambéry.



Other Things to Note:

We are available throughout the stay if anything comes up. The ski locker is located on the ground floor of the building, separate from the apartment itself. The bunk room has no window, so it may not suit guests who prefer natural light.

Check-in is from 16:00, and check-out is before 10:00. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on the schedule of stays around yours, just ask and we'll do what we can.

Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.
