Set on a quiet hillside on the little island of Iž, this bright, ground-floor semi-detached holiday home for 4 is made for unhurried days together. Outside, Dalmatian stone walls enclose a private terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, where long family lunches drift into the afternoon and the Adriatic glints beyond the red rooftops.

Inside, two comfortable double bedrooms and an airy living area keep everyone close, while the separate, fully equipped kitchen (with a dishwasher, oven, coffee machine, microwave, kettle and toaster) makes self-catering effortless. With free Wi-Fi, a digital TV, and children and pets both welcome, the whole family can ease into island time.
Sailing families are especially well placed here: the house comes with a boat mooring, so the day\'s adventure can end with the boat secured below and dinner on the terrace above.

Location

This holiday home sits in Veli Iž, the lively little hub of the island of Iž in the Zadar archipelago, where the harbour promenade, family-run konobas serving the morning\'s catch, a supermarket and the sailors\' marina are all within a 5-10 minute walk. Life here moves at walking pace, and the island rewards it: a gentle trail climbs Korinjak hill for sweeping views over the archipelago and Kornati National Park, quiet coves invite a swim, and the islet of Rutnjak lies just offshore, an easy kayak trip for a picnic in complete peace. Each July, the Iška fešta fills the village with concerts, boat races and the crowning of the King of Iž.

Veli Iž is reached by a scenic boat ride from Zadar, with the foot-passenger ferry and the Jadrolinija catamaran taking between 55 minutes and around an hour and a half. The nearest airport is Zadar Airport, a short drive from Zadar\'s port on the mainland.
