Three weeks in Javea
This is a good location with every amenity available close by. The apartment was spotless and well appointed with everything we needed. We were supplied with extra bedding due to surprise guests during our stay, thanks to Jacqui for organising this. We did have some issues with Wifi which had to be rebooted a few times, and I would have liked to had Sky sports available due to length of our stay . Xabia sur complex is immaculate and the swimming pool looks great, the weather wasn't quite warm enough to enjoy it this time!
Perfect apartment for our first family holiday!
We stayed here on our first family holiday abroad with our 1 year old and it could not have been more perfect. The apartment is clean and well laid out with a nice ground floor balcony area and private back garden for sunbathing in the evenings. The apartment is located in a nice quiet apartment block and everyone was very friendly, especially around the communal pool which is also kept super clean and perfect for young children as it has a baby pool area.
The apartment is equidistant between two lovely resorts which you can reach via a nice walk along the beach front. I would absolutely recommend this apartment, we received excellent service from the owners before and after our holiday.
Home from home - can't wait to go again....
Lovely apartment, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We spent a relaxed week here, and everything was perfect. The apartment was spotless and spacious. The big supermarket was next door - we loved getting fresh fish and bread here, and yet it was still only a 5 minute walk tothe port.
We liked it because there were lots of Spanish people living there and if wasn't full of tourists.
Javea is very traditional and hasn't been spoiled by high rise buildings and retains a sea side town feel.
There's something for all ages. It was great to be able to get English tv channels with a dvd player as well. This was great as we did have some rain during our stay.

Javea: The Javea area of the Costa Blanca is best known for its 20 km of unspoiled beauty, excellent 'Blue Flag' beaches and hidden coves. It is a place where the wealthy Spanish from Madrid and Valencia chose to purchase there holiday homes and, with very few hotels and therefore limited "package" holidays, the cosmopolitan array of holiday makers tend to be families, couples and friends renting apartments or villas.
Javea itself is split into three main areas. The 'Arenal' beach which is 2000 metres from this Xabia Sur apartment offers a beautiful sandy bay, a promenade of shops, bars and restaurants with a small fair for the children in the Summer months with rides, trampolines and go-karts. Water sports from the beach include jet ski's, speed boat hire, parascending, paddle boarding, canoe and pedalo hire. In the evenings the promenade is full of craft stalls and beach bars "spring" up for the summer months stretching from the beach to the Port.
Javea Port nearby is a traditional fishing Port with a large Marina, intimate cobbled streets, a brightly lit Promenade of restaurants and bars and clean pebbled beaches. The pebble beach of the port is 1000 meters from this apartment.
The traditional historic Old Town has white house fronts and cobbled streets, it is a typical 'Spanish Town' relatively unspoiled with a quiet and relaxing ambience, it has many traditional 'Tapas Bars' and a weekly Market. The spectacular fiestas begin in June and continue throughout the Summer Months.
Nearby Areas of Interest & Tourist Attractions: Javea is less than one hours drive by Car from Benidorm, which has many attractions for all ages including 'Mundomar' an Animal Water Park, 'Aqualandia' a themed Swimming Park and 'Terra Mitica' a large Fun Park, boasting some of the largest rides in Europe. The beautiful historic village of Guadalest set in the Mountains is a place not to be missed by the visitor along with the 'Waterfalls of Algar'. Other nearby Towns include Moraira with spectacular Coastlines and varied entertainment, Denia with its large Port offering daily trips to the Balearic Islands, Calpe with its legendary 'Calpe Rock' jutting out of the Sea, Benissa, Teulada and Gata de Gorgos.
For the Golf Enthusiast: The Apartment is ideally situated for those guests who enjoy a relaxing round of Golf. Javea has its own Club de Golf Javea with 9 Holes and there is also Club de Golf Ifach Moraira again with 9 Holes. Further away there is Club de Golf La Sella in Denia with 18 Holes and the famous Seve Ballesteros Club de Golf Oliva again with 18 Holes.
