As such, it features its own hórreo (a traditional agricultural storage structure), a fountain dating back to 1862, and is surrounded by vineyards planted with the Albariño grape variety—the most common in the Ulla River Valley, where this vacation home is located. Located just 11 km from the center of Santiago de Compostela—whose name derives from the Latin “campus stellae” (field of the star), referring to the star that guided the hermit Pelayo to the site where the Apostle James was buried—it offers all the benefits of its proximity to the capital of Galicia while allowing guests to enjoy the peace and tranquility of its rural surroundings.
