Town: Malvern is an excellent centre for both long and short holidays. A number of National Trust properties, gardens and vineyards are within easy reach. Malvern has many individual shops, cafes, art galleries and restaurants and a luxurious spa. Great Malvern dates back to the Bronze Age and is situated on the eastern side of the dramatic Malvern Hills.
The town holds antique and craft fairs, farmers’ markets and many auctions throughout the year, as well as the Great Malvern Food Festival in June. Malvern Theatres has an extensive programme throughout the year including productions from the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company, musicals, and dance, to world-renowned musicians and orchestras; the associated cinema screens new releases.
