A beautiful Art Nouveau house with an enormous garden.

Featuring a private bubble bathand a verandah for a splendid holiday, this is an 8-bedroom mansion in Flobecq (Flobecq). The mansion is ideal for a large family of 16 guests or a group of friends.

Restaurants are at 1 km if you wish to enjoy the local cuisine. The forest at 2 km and lake at 10 km is great to enjoy nature with your loved ones. You can wander through the town center at 4 km and big groceries from supermarkets at 5 km. Points of interest include the village of Ellezelles, the historic Walloon town of Lessines, and the attractive town of Ronse.

Central heating keeps you cozy indoors. There is a fireplace in the TV room to sit by and get cozy around on closer evenings. There's a coffee machine and an oven in the kitchen to make your preparations easier. On the terrace, you can enjoy barbecue evenings and linger until the wee hours. The furnished garden is great to have meals and play ball games. A children's bed and a high chair are available. 3 pets can join you on holiday.

A utilities & service fee of EUR 250,00 will be required closer to your checkin date. You will receive a separate communication with the payment link. Heel charmant huis, met een prachtige ligging en een geweldige tuin. Geen aanrader voor oudere mensen en lange mensen. Sommige douches zijn zo laag en klein, dat je je er niet 'normaal' kunt wassen. Het huis was niet schoon, oude spinnenwebben in de ramen, in sommige kopjes zat schimmel om maar twee voorbeelden te benoemen. In twee kamers ontbrak het aan gordijnen of in andere kamers functioneerden de rolgordijnen niet. Douche op de derde verdieping kan niet geventileerd worden, er zat schimmel aan het scherm en af en toe kwam er een ongelofelijke stank uit. Wc's en badkamers kunnen niet op slot. Persoonlijk vonden wij de matrassen erg zacht, al is dit waarschijnlijk een kwestie van smaak. Nu ik oudere recencies lees, deed de vaatwasser het al heel lang niet. Ook nu niet. Afwassen voor 14 personen is niet echt mijn gevoel van vakantie ;-). De speelhal in de kelder kon niet echt gebruikt worden, geen tafelvoetballetje. Te weinig parasols op het terras en geen ligstoelen. En de bbq was ronduit smerig. Kortom het was het allemaal net niet. Dit heb ik ook aan onze contactpersoon geschreven, hier echter geen reactie meer op ontvangen. Onze contactpersoon was overigens erg vriendelijk, daar was niets op aan te merken. Ik vind het ook zaak van Belvilla om huizen te inspecteren, zeker gezien het bedrag voor de huur van zo'n huis.

A notre arrivée, il y avait un container rempli de déchets ménagers juste à côté de la porte d'entrée (sacs poubelle) laissés par de précédents locataires. Quel accueil !!! Nous avons dû téléphoner à la personne référente pour venir faire enlever le container. Ce qui a été fait le lendemain de notre arrivée. La remarque a été assez mal prise par la référente et n'a plus voulu nous prendre en communication alors qu'ensuite nous avons eu un problème de fuite à la première utilisation du lave-vaisselle. Il y avait de l'eau partout dans l'arrière-cuisine et cuisine. Elle ne répondait plus ni à mon numéro ni à celui de ma compagne. C'est mon fils qui a dû téléphoner et là seulement, elle a décroché et fait envoyer quelqu'un, le propriétaire ?... Ce dernier nous a juste dit de refaire tourner le lave-vaisselle et de le prévenir si le problème se représentait et qu'il enverrait alors un technicien. Il y avait également un parasol sur la terrasse (plein sud) inutilisable, le socle cassé et parasol déchiré. Il manquait peut-être aussi du mobilier de jardin (style transat ) pour se prélasser au soleil. Ce n'était pas net au point de vue propreté et le jacuzzi lui non plus n'avait pas été vérifié entre les deux locations. Et là, d'accord, que nous utilisateurs, vérifions en cours de séjour de le maintenir propre mais ce n'est pas à nous à le nettoyer à la première utilisation. L'état intérieur de l'habitation est plus que défraîchi : peinture écaillée, coups dans les boiseries, portes, murs, toiles d'araignées partout, déchets sous les lits... Dans la cuisine, il y avait plein de crasses dans les grilles d'aération de la cuisinière. Je trouve que le prix demandé est plus que surfait, c'est mille euros au-dessus du prix. Il n'y avait personne pour nous accueillir à notre arrivée et nous donner des explications et personne non plus à notre départ. Le peu d'explications trouvées sont en néerlandais. Le seul mail reçu avant notre arrivée était lui aussi rédigé en Néerlandais. Nous sommes là en région wallonne et la langue officielle sur place est quand même le français. La moindre des choses alors est d'avoir les infos utiles dans les deux langues nationales.

De villa Lumen 7 is een fantastisch huis voor een familie of vriendengroep. De ruimte op de benedenverdieping, de grote keuken en natuurlijk de open haard zijn heel fijn als het weer wat minder is. Jammer dat we niet van het terras met uitzicht hebben kunnen genieten, maar des te meer reden om nog eens terug te komen. De slaapkamers zijn heel ruim. De inrichting van het huis is mooi en goed doorgevoerd in alle kamers. Ondanks dat het een oud huis is, is het van alle gemakken voorzien en binnen goed onderhouden. Wij hebben een fijn weekend gehad met onze vriendengroep.

Prachtige woning van 1905! Enkele jaren geleden gerenoveerd maar niet goed onderhouden. De kamers en sanitair alsook het beddengoed waren proper. Het keukengerief dat niet uit de vaatwas kwam, was niet mooi gereinigd en hebben we opnieuw gewassen alvorens te gebruiken. Het (mooie) fornuis en de ovens waren echt vuil... Het bbq toestel was niet gereinigd en erg vuil! Rond het huis lag allerhande rommel. Het lokaatje met poetsgerief was zeer slordig! Gelukkig maakte het prachtige weer en de mooie omgeving alles goed!

Het huis in Flobecq is zeer mooi en zeer ruim. We verbleven er met onze familie (13 personen). Prachtig gelegen, met zicht op de heuvelachtige streek en een fantastische tuin en bos om in te spelen. Enkele minpuntjes: slordige keukenkasten, speelgoedkast, toeristische info, vuilnis opslag buiten, en de afwasmachine deed het niet.

(filterzak van vorige, geopende verpakkingen met etenswaren nog in kast aanwezig, vaatwas leverde vuile vaat op (onderhoud toestel, net als koffiezet , ontkalken?) zakdoeken achter nachtkastje, hondenharen.. Proper water van Jaccuzi? Speelkelder was vuil.. was groot ruim huis en prachtig decor. Net zoals de omgeving. Ondanks de gebrekkige hygiene toch genoten.

Bijzondere uitstraling van het huis, grote tuin, schoon en goede voorzieningen. Lekker veel bestek en servies zodat ewenooit misgrepen. Savonds nog heerlijk rond de vuurkorf gezeten en genoten van het uitzicht. Zeer veel fiets - en wandelroutes direct vanaf het huis. De gastvrouw was makkelijk te bereiken en zeer vriendelijk. Zelf niet in de jacuzzi gezeten maar de rest van de groep regelmatig )

Bij de aankomst stelden we vast dat de keukenhandoeken ontbraken, maar dat werd door de eigenaar opgelost. De accomodatie was op enkele problemen na zeer aangenaam. De problemen geen warm water in de douches in de gang, wel was het water zeer warm in de douches verbonden met de kamers en deze waren ook modern en mooi. De voorzieningen waren prima, keuken met heel wat toebehoren, ruime living, aangename veranda, mooie salons. Elke slaapkamer beschikt over een lavabo maar sommige bedden zijn tekort en smal. Van de omgeving hebben we niet veel kunnen genieten gezien het regenweer, de enige wandeling die gemaakt werd toonde wel een prachtig bosrijke omgeving. De jacuzzi was een aangenaam tijdverdrijf ook al regende het toen.

Lovely place for a family get together

We had a holiday with 9 family members aged 0-85 plus a dog in July. The house is large and charming, has a small woodland behind it which has deers, and a large garden in front: perfect for kids and dog to roam around free. We had a simple but lovely holiday going for walks and playing board and outdoor games during the day and enjoying BBQ in the evening. Supermarkets are within 10 min driving distance. Kitchen is well equipped. The only thing which would have been good to have is a laundry machine. Cleaning could have been better: jaccuzi didn’t look clean so we didn’t use, and the kitchen drawers and some plates were dusty, but other parts were well cleaned. I would recommend it for a gathering of family or friends where the main aim is to spend quality time with each other.

Goede check-in met leuke tips voor restaurantjes etc. Zeer uitgebreid servies perfect voor diners. Lekker veel handdoeken. Jacuzzi water was toe aan verversing en er waren een hoop vliegen binnen maar dat is te verwachten in het bosrijke gebied. Al met al een echte aanrader.
