Four Bedroom/2 Bath Beach House perfect for year-round family and/or friends getaway!! Create a lifetime of memories in this quaint and perfectly located beach cottage located just one block from the East Landing Beach and a very short drive or bike to the Ocean beaches. This home is located in Hampton Bays - so you get the Hamptons without all the traffic hassles of getting there! This is our second home and not just a beach rental - so all the comfy and cozy is included!!

Fully appointed, this home boasts not only a large back deck & yard but also an enclosed screened-in front porch for your enjoyment. It is a quiet beach neighborhood so its perfect for riding your bike, going for a run or just taking a walk. There is so much to do for the young, the old and everyone in-between. The bay beach is perfect for the kids, all water sports including jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming or merely floating, relaxing and sunning (don't forget the sunscreen). Just a few miles away from the village of Southhampton, world renowned Shinecock Hills, the beaches of Dune Road and even outlet shopping in Riverhead for those non-beach days. It is the perfect location for a weekend of wine tours, sightseeing and fishing excursions.

The house offers cable TV, WIFI, air conditioning (& heat), dishwasher, washer & dryer, outdoor shower for rinsing off sandy toes, outdoor fire pit, gas grill, picnic tables, kayaks, beach toys and all the amenities to make your stay one you won't ever want to end. There is a first floor master with a King bed and bedroom with a twin day bed with twin trundle (pictures show bunk bed but we have since replaced that with a day bed); a second floor bedroom with a Queen bed and another room with two twin beds; and, finally a loft with a twin bed. We also have a porta-crib & high chair for those with small children.

Amazing property!

We have stayed in various VRBO properties in Hampton Bays and this was, by far, the best. Proximity to Bay, wonderful owners who provided everything you needed, and the home was immaculate! We enjoyed kayaking on the bay which is walking distance and fire pit at night. We plan to return to this home in the future!

Just perfect!

This was a cozy, clean, beautiful place! We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay here. We loved walking to the bay, sitting on the back deck, sitting on the screened deck, and trying to find all the whales and nautical themes in the home. It is a perfect well designed space. Wonderful home 1 block from bay beach!

We highly have enjoyed every minute in this lovely Hampton Bays home! Located only a block’s walk from the bay beach, this home is treasure! Plenty of space for my family, we enjoyed going down to the bay and the fire pit in the back yard was well used each night for talking and s’mores! Janet and Matthew were very kind in all communication with us, got back to us immediately and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We can’t wait to return to this incredible home!

This place was just the best. Maybe a 5 minute walk to east landing beach where you can sun and swim when the ocean is a little too rough. Lots of exploring too due to the little channel that runs from Squires pond to the bay. Our host, Janet was really great with communication and advice. The house is wonderful. Love coffee in the morning on the breezy porch and hanging out in the spacious back yard in the evenings. A wonderful way for my wife and I to spend overdue time with our two adult kids. Would absolutely come back and would highly recommend! Thank you so much Janet!

Seven lifelong friends had a wonderful weekend together. The interior of the home was well set up in every way, roomy with many bedrooms, sufficient space for anll of us to be comfortable.Colorful front screened in porch with plenty of room for all of us to chill. Outdoor space was just as wonderful. Large deck with big table and a wonderful fire pit that we enjoyed in the evening. The shed had everything you need for a day at the beach. The beach was within walking distance and not crowded. We are intending to come back again next year. This was everything a getaway should be. Thank you for the hospitality.

Hidden Gem!

We loved staying at the Black Whale! Can’t wait to return next summer. The house was a perfect fit for our two families. The walking path to the bay beach was easy as can be.
